Getting Started

1. How to use get a quote.
Go to the Database page and Choose your laptop's brand and then its model number.
Once you've selected your laptop model number, specify its configuration and condition, then click on "Get Quote".

2. Where to find your laptop laptop model number.
Depending on the brand, you can locate your laptop's model number above the keyboard, below the screen display or on the bottom case of your laptop. Click here to get detailed instructions.

     "Read more" link to review an extensive explanation. You can also have a live agent assist you in this matter.

    - How is my quote calculated?
      Our database is constantly updated. We gather price data history from different sites and calculate your quote based on its condition.

    - I think my laptop is worth way more than I was quoted. what should I do?
      If you think your quote is not accurate, please contact us providing details of your laptop. We will do our best to offer you a fair quote.

1. Prepaid label and packaging.
     Once you submit your quote an email with a confirmation will be sent to you. A prepaid shipping label will be included.

2. Tracking your package.
     We ship via UPS. You will be provided a tracking number. To track your package click here.

     FAQ
    - How long can I take before I ship my laptop?
      We ask you to ship your laptop within 7 days of receiving your shipping label. It might be voided after this period.

Testing Process

1. What we test in your laptop.
     We test your laptop to match the description you provided: condition and functionality.

2. Misrepresentations.
     Honest mistakes happens. If you misrepresented your laptop we will contact you with a new offer. If you don't like your new offer you don't
     have to accept it. We will even ship your laptop back at NO COST to you*.

*Free return shipping only applies to fully functional laptops, that do not require refurbishment (Only cosmetic issues). Please read our service terms and conditions for more detailed information.

Receiving Your Payment

1. Getting paid by check.
     By default you will be paid by check. We will email your check the very next day your laptop's test is complete.

2. Getting paid through PayPal.
     If you would like to get paid by PayPal transfer please specify so when you confirm you quote. The transfer will be made the very next day
     of receiving your laptop. PayPal may charge fees for its service.

    - How long before I receive my check?
      Your check will be delivered the very next day your laptop's test is complete. Depending on your location, you should be receiving your
      check in the mail in 5 to 7 days.
